Fri 15 (Day 1)

Arrival at Luxor or Hurgadah airport, depending on your flight. Transfer to your hotel located in West Luxor. Welcome and introduction to the course. Dinner at the hotel. 

Sat 16 (Day 2)

Breakfast at the hotel. Presentation: introduction to the spirituality of the ancient Egyptians. Visit to the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Traditional lunch in town. We will return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Sun 18 (Day 3) 

Breakfast at the hotel. Presentation: the 42 laws of Maat, the weighing of the heart and the beyond of life. Visit to the Valley of the Kings and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the colossi of Memnon and the temple of Medinet Habu. Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. 

Mon 18 (Day 4)

Breakfast at the hotel. Presentation: Osiris, god of resurrection and his attributes.  Departure by minibus for a day excursion to visit the temple of Abydos, the most sacred place in ancient Egypt. We will have lunch on the way. We will return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. 

Tue 19 (Day 5)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to our privatised Dahabeya, a very comfortable traditional wooden boat. Departure for the cruise. All our meals will be taken on board.  Presentation: the pharaonic cross of life and light, door to our interiority. 

Wed 20 (Day 6)

Breakfast on board. Presentation: the message of Khnum, the divine potter, shaper of the human being.  Visit to the temple of Esna, dedicated to Khnum. All meals will be taken on board. Night on board.

Thur 21 (Day 7)

Breakfast on board. Visit to the Gabal el-Silsila stone quarry. A place of great beauty and serenity from which stones were extracted for the construction of Egyptian temples. Presentation: The structure of the Egyptian temple in relation to the human body.   Notre chauffeur du minibus nous retrouvera sur la rive du Nil au nord de Assouan. Visite du temple de Philae ou de celui de Kalabsha. Déjeuner à Assouan.  Nous arriverons à notre hôtel en fin d’après-midi, il est situé dans un village nubien sur l’île Eléphantine interdite aux voitures.  Dîner au bord du Nil. Nuit à l’hôtel.

Fri 22 (Day 8)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to a traditional Nubian house transformed into a museum by the local community. Visit to the botanical island and meditative walk in the garden. Presentation: the symbolism of the Egyptian tree of life.  Dinner on the banks of the Nile and overnight at the hotel.

Sat 23 (Day 9)

Departure from Aswan by minibus. Visit the temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, god of royalty. Arrival in Luxor late in the afternoon. Feedback and workshop closure.  Night at the hotel in West Luxor. 

Sun 24 (Day 10)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. 

END OF WORKSHOP

Possibility of an optional visit to Cairo for 3 nights

Sun 24  – Arrival at our hotel located near the Pyramids.

Mon 25  – Visit to the Giza site and the Saqqara site. 

Tue 26  – Visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

Wed 27  – Transfer to Cairo airport.
